These Watermelon Lemonade Slushies promise to cool you down on a hot summer day. They are refreshing and delicious!
Watermelon and lemonade are two great ways to stay cool during the dog days of summer.
How do you cool down a hot summer day?
A tall glass of lemonade?
A juicy slice of watermelon?
Those are my answers and I thought what a great idea to combine the two to create Refreshing Watermelon Lemonade Slushies.

Lemonade quenches the thirst and is the perfect summer drink.
Watermelons are full of flavor and sweetness this time a year. I sure do miss it come winter. But for right now icy and slushy sounds refreshing.
Skip the ice in this recipe and just freeze your watermelon ahead of time.
This sweet summer cooler is perfect for a party or barbecue.
Is it 5 o’clock? Make it an adult cocktail by adding vodka.
This recipe couldn’t get any easier.

- 2 cup watermelon, frozen
- 2 cups lemonade

Mmm, I haven’t had a slushie since… grade school? I like the ‘after five’ version…
Love the after five version! Perfect way to wind down after a long day.
I’m so going to need one of these by week’s end – it’s only Monday night and it looks really darn good 🙂
Sounds good. I’m right there with you!
I love slushy drinks and this watermelon lemonade slush is perfect for summer!
I agree Melissa. Enjoy.
I absolutely love watermelon lemonade! We buy it at farmer’s market for a LOT of money and now I can try my own! thanks!
Now you can make your own. Love it!
YUM! These looks so refreshing and just make me want to sit by the pool with a tall glass of this slushie and enjoy the beautiful day. 🙂 I love that you use frozen watermelon instead of ice. My daughters would love this. Pinning!
Thanks Erin. A great drink for poolside.
Oh my! I could easily down a pitcher of these slushies on a hot summer day. Well, only without the vodka added. A pitcher with vodka would surely make me it’s minion if I tried to drink it all.
Kirsten you seriously made me laugh out loud. Hope you enjoy this refreshing drink – with vodka or without 🙂
This looks so refreshing! I need this because it has been warm but with the 3000 % humidity it feels like I’m trapped in a burlap sack in a sweatsuit! I need something to cool me down that is not just plain water:)
Thanks. Very refreshing. They go down easy too. Perfect to cool down with.
