I often flip to this rub recipe in Steve Raichlen's, "How to Grill" bible. This simple basic barbecue rub will lead to raving reviews for anything you grill. Trust me!

This simple dry rub is what I use on my Fall Off The Bone Baby Back Ribs and my Beer Can Chicken. It transforms the pork and chicken into what Raichlen calls "American Barbecue."

I've included a link to Raichlen's cookbook on Amazon because if there is anything you want to learn about grilling, this is the bible.
