These Red, White and Blue Berry Trifles are an easy no-bake dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth but won’t wreck havoc on your waistline.
Made with mixed berry yogurt, fresh fruit and angel food cake, this layered trifle is creamy, light and sweet.
It’s the perfect summer dessert if you are looking for a guilt-free treat for one or for serving up a crowd.
My red, white and blue berry trifles make a patriotic statement anytime of the year, including summer and the Fourth of July.
They make the ideal party dessert because they can be made ahead of time, in little time and there’s no need to turn on the oven!
These trifles are made with Yoplait® Original yogurt. My favorite yogurt just got better. It has more of what I love – fruit!
What’s your favorite flavor?
I created layers of mixed berry yogurt, diced angel food cake and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries.
Yoplait® Original yogurt contains probiotics which means it’s good for your gut. Each cup has 20 percent of your daily value of calcium and vitamin D.
Hey kids! It’s good for you!
After the holiday season, I’m always looking for recipes to serve my family that are light in calories but full of flavor.
I chose angel food cake over pound cake or regular cake because angel food cake is made with egg whites only, no yolks. It’s airy and spongy and it marries beautifully with fruit and yogurt.
So keep your New Year’s resolution going with these triple berry trifles. Serve these up as a single serving or use a larger trifle bowl for a dessert centerpiece presentation. Either way you can’t go wrong.

How simple are these! Love that they are in single servings and so pretty with the berries!
Thanks Ginny. Single serving is the best portion control. But easy enough to make for a crowd. 🙂
Love how easy these are to prepare and that you’ve made them with healthier ingredients. Love all the fresh berries!
That is the best part. Berries in the yogurt and berries on top. Too hard to resist. Thanks Stephanie!
Your recipe looks so delicious and easy! I love the beautiful colors and go ga-ga over Yoplait yogurt! I couldn’t possibly pick my favorite flavor and it’s mean of you to ask me 😉 I need to make this real soon!
Thanks Elaine. This is such an easy recipe and would be delicious with any of the Yoplait flavors. Just top with your favorite fruits.
The trifle looks so pretty, fresh and absolutely delicious! I love using yogurt instead of cream in desserts n it tastes best in trifles.
Thanks Molly…it keeps it healthy and light. With all the berries hard to refuse 🙂
Oh man, this is making me want summer weather so much! But if I can’t have warmth, these beautiful trifles will at least make me a whole lot happier to be dealing with cold and snow!

Thanks Sues. I am ready for warmer weather too. These negative temperatures are hitting all of us hard. Enjoy the trifles and dream of warmer weather 🙂
