Made with mixed berry yogurt, fresh fruit and angel food cake, this easy trifle recipe is creamy, light and sweet.

Four berry trifles

These no bake summer desserts because they can be made ahead of time, and in little time.

There’s no need to turn on the oven!

These individual servings are made with Yoplait® Original yogurt in small bowls or mason jars.

My favorite yogurt just got better. It’s because it has more of what I love – fruit!

Just add angel food cake cubes to the bottom of a trifle dish.

Finally, add layers of berries, yogurt of your choice, and whipped cream or cool whip on top.

How to make a patriotic trifle

For this festive July trifle, slice an angel food cake, homemade pound cake or white cake into cubes.

Next, add layers of blueberries, a layer of yogurt and fresh strawberries and blackberries.

Add additional layers of cake, fruit and yogurt.

Also, this festive red, white and blue dessert can also be made in a large clear glass bowl.

It’s enough to serve a lot of people and look stunning on any dessert table.

It’s the perfect summer dessert in American flag colors!

Individual berry Trifles and yogurt

Hey kids! It’s good for you!

After the holiday season, I’m always looking for recipes to serve my family that are light in calories but full of flavor.

I chose angel food cake over pound cake or regular cake because angel food cake is made with egg whites only, no yolks.

It’s airy and spongy and it marries beautifully with fruit and yogurt.

So keep your New Year’s resolution going with these triple berry trifles.

It’s such an easy recipe!

Serve this delicious dessert in single servings. Or use a larger trifle bowl to create a pretty pattern for a dessert centerpiece presentation.

Either way you can’t go wrong with this festive dessert.
