A plate of shredded buffalo chicken sliders

For the big game, I’ve decided to serve up my shredded buffalo chicken sliders.

My husband and I are avid college football and basketball fans.

Go Buckeyes!

We are loyal sports nuts who love to entertain with friends at home and down on campus.

We have so many delicious and easy recipes we serve up to a crowd regularly on game day.

These sandwiches are a super simple recipe and are a great option for a party appetizer or a busy weeknight dinner the whole family will enjoy.

Feed a Crowd

What better way to cheer on your favorite team during football season than with a game winning sandwich.

My husband is a buffalo chicken fan and loves Frank’s Red Hot sauce on just about anything.

From buffalo chicken wings to buffalo chicken meatballs to buffalo chicken tacos, he’s a sucker for anything with that special spicy sauce.

The best part about these easy sandwiches is that they are made casserole style so they are easy to grab and you can make enough to feed a crowd.

Serve them along side tortilla chips, celery sticks and a homemade ranch dressing.

Grab these simple ingredients from the grocery store.

Chicken. Easy to make, these buffalo sliders use rotisserie chicken from the grocery deli.

While it’s easy to bake boneless chicken breasts ahead of time, sometimes the best option is pre-cooked chicken.

No one wants to spend all day in the kitchen.

This is a great shortcut to get this casserole sandwich dish baked and served in no time.

I simply shred chicken and add plenty of spicy buffalo sauce to get that tangy taste I just love.

Cheese. Use your favorite provolone, mozzarella or cheddar cheese. If you love bleu cheese, the crumbles work well too.

Buns. The slider size works best. Head to the bread aisle and grab a package of your favorite brand.

Buffalo Sauce. Frank’s is our go to. But feel free to use any brand you prefer or make your own homemade buffalo sauce.

How to make Shredded Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Preheat the oven.

Layer the bottom of the casserole pan with the bottom half of the slider buns.

Top each bun with saucy shredded chicken and a combination of provolone and mozzarella cheeses.

Add the top of the bun, and pop the entire casserole pan into a hot oven to melt the cheese until it is melted and the buns are golden brown.

It just doesn’t get any easier than that.
