I love a great margarita. 

There’s nothing I love more than sipping on a classic lime margarita on the rocks rimmed with sea salt during the hot summer days.

What’s even better?

Enjoying that cold margarita during Cinco de Mayo or taco Tuesdays. 

Whether you go out for Mexican food or stay home there are plenty of delicious ways to pair a margarita with something delicious and tasty. 

Move over tortilla chips!

I’ve come up with 15 of the best recipes you can make at home for dinner or for a neighborhood party. 

But first, back to this classic drink – homemade margaritas!

I luckily acquired this classic margarita recipe from an authentic restaurant in my hometown.

We’ve been going there for a long time and with good reason.

They have one of the best margarita recipes I’ve ever had. 

I love all kinds of margaritas – spicy margaritas, fruity margaritas, frozen margaritas. You name it!

But you can’t go wrong with a good ole traditional margarita!

This simple margarita recipe features classic margarita ingredients like fresh lime juice, a salt rim, Blanco tequila, powdered sugar and an orange liqueur like Grand Marnier over Triple Sec.

Another favorite margarita recipe of mine is made using Elderflower liqueur in place of a simple syrup.
