ork Tenderloin Sliders with a Blackberry Barbecue Sauce
Grilled Ohio pork tenderloin sliders are all the better slathered with the sweet taste of blackberry barbecue sauce. Make these sandwiches tonight!
- 2 pork Balsamic and Brown Sugar Marinated Pork Tenderloins, grilled and sliced, grilled and sliced SEE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 12 dinner rolls, sliced
Blackberry BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup seedless blackberry preserves
- 1 tablespoon aged balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Herbs de Provence
Make the Pork Tenderloins
Make the BBQ sauce
Sauté the onions and garlic in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until softened. Add the blackberries and cook until softened. Add the remaining ingredients until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a blender or use a immersion blender to purée the sauce. Set the sauce aside until needed.
Fire up the grill to medium heat and grill the tenderloins until the internal temperature measures 145°F, about 20 minutes. Remove the tenderloins to a cutting board and allow to rest for 5 minutes for cutting into thin slices. Sandwich the pork between the dinner rolls and top with the blackberry barbecue sauce and serve.
