  • 3 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans


  • Blend cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add flour. Blend well. Chill dough 2 hours or overnight. Divide dough into 24 pieces and roll into balls. Press into mini muffin tins. Roast pecans for 5 minutes. Let cool and chop finely. Blend all ingredients and fill pastry cups. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
