1/4cupfirmly packed brown sugar
1/4cupsweet paprika
3tablespoonsblack pepper
3tablespoonscoarse salt
1tablespoonhickory-smoked salt or more coarse salt
2teaspoonsgarlic powder
2teaspoonsonion powder
2teaspooncelery seeds
1teaspooncayenne pepper
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and work with your hands to break up any lumps of brown sugar. Keep the rub in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
