Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas rinsed and drained
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons nut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl if needed.
  • Add an additional tablespoon of milk if needed for the desired consistency and smoothness.
  • Transfer the dessert spread to a bowl.
  • Garnish with mini chocolate chips or a strawberry and serve with your favorite dippers.
  • Store any leftover hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
